Company Mission

SlamDunk USA’s mission is to be the premier provider of American style basketball training in China. And, to be one of the unique places to go to practice American English and colloquialisms. Our goal is to be the premier provider of American Basketball whether it be events like tournaments and training camps, or to see what the latest is in college hoops, streetball style, training nutrition/foods/drink, and equipment/clothing. We pride ourselves on blending the American culture with the local Chinese culture to create that unique “athletic lifestyle”. SlamDunk USA strives to provide a full package for all tastes of China's youths, from better and more commonly used English skills, to technical skills, mental training, attitude approach, individual fashion, and a fun lifestyle. SlamDunk USA hopes to be a defining part of China’s youth.

Company Philosophy

At SDU, we have a passion for basketball, business and having fun. Our approach for the company is the same approach to basketball. With a lot of practice, training, creativity, and individuality, combined with the same common mission and goal, we will win. We emphasize individuality and creative thinking to always provide us with new methods and marketing ideas. Management continually pushes the envelope to reach new heights of playing for the company. Good on-court communication provides a very tight and personal team. We are committed to the Chinese market and creating that bridge of athleticism between the US and China. Our staff combines western culture, talent and business practices with eastern philosophies, talent, and culture to offer that unique blend which enables us to operate in both the US and China.

Company Background

SlamDunk USA, Inc. is a privately held company and has been in business since 2002. Headquartered in the Washington, DC area and Beijing, China, the company is strategically located to take advantage of each country’s political situation as well as each country’s top spots for professional sports. The founder, Mary Feng, has traveled extensively throughout China, including the Tibetan plateau, Inner Mongolia, Chiangsu, AnHwei, etc. and in 2001 realized the burgeoning athletic talent and the demographic and geographic diversity within China were converging. With the opportunity to be a major contributor in building the athletic and sports industry in China while enhancing the worldwide reach and talent of America, SDU was created. With a phenomenal US team and China team, SDU is positioned to capture the youth of China.

Investors

SlamDunk USA (SDU) is running a limited number of events in January 2004. We are expanding our services in the summer of 2004 to provide more events in Beijing and offer new camps in additional cities like Shanghai and Guangzhou, two of China’s largest and wealthiest cities. For 2005, SDU will be expanding to 15 cities around China. To do so, SDU must invest heavily into the marketing, facilities and coaches of our events. This investment requires capital for both US and China operations. The growing economy in China combined with the countrywide popularity of American basketball among the Chinese people and SDU’s winning team of staff, provide the necessary building blocks for a successful venture with unlimited opportunities.
